Bedsores Matter to Medicare

Medicare just cut payments to 721 hospitals for having the highest rates of "hospital-acquired conditions," which include bedsores and other complications that are considered avoidable.  There are some notable hospitals among the 721, including the Cleveland Clinic, Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, and the Hospital of the U. Penn. in Philadelphia.
